What does GRAMMY-nominated classical violinist Robert McDuffie have in common with alt rock band R.E.M.? A lot! Hear McDuffie talk about his longtime friendship with R.E.M. founding member Mike Mills, who wrote his Concerto for Violin, Rock Band and String Orchestra especially for the violinist. McDuffie will be the soloist in the work for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s gala concert on February 9th, 2019, which also includes a performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. McDuffie also shares his passion for education, Rome, and the Allman Brothers Band. Definitely worth a listen!
