Classical 101.1 WRR Focus on the Arts: Texas Country Reporter and the Dallas Winds unite for a Texas-sized project

For the past five decades, Texas Country Reporter has been telling the “slice of life” stories of Texans through a weekly television show, hosted by Bob and Kelli Phillips. To celebrate the show’s Golden anniversary, they’re embarking on a live concert tour throughout the state over the course of about a year, starting in October with the Dallas Winds. The program features narration of famous moments in Texas history, set to a score written by David Lovrien. In this interview, Amy Bishop chats with Bob, Kelli, and Dave about how a dream is becoming reality this fall through A Texas Tribute.
